DRUNKEN QUILTING METHOD

Learning new helpful methods is always a good thing.

So, I found this video, by Jordan Fabrics, called drunken quilting. I was intrigued by this title and was thinking, “Oh this is not good.” But it turns out there is no drunk at all!

Drunken quilting is a simple way to do the stitching on our small quilts without taking it to a long drawn out process.

It was very helpful to know and I have to say the title was a clever choice because I’m sure everyone clicked on it expecting to laugh and cringe, but got a great tip instead!

Donna Jordan, the woman giving the tutorial, says that this method does not work so well in bigger quilts, but I have to say that for baby quilts or for gift quilts or anything else that might be small, it is perfect, simple, and fast! Plus, it comes out great!

Donna does a great job explaining and demonstrating how to do this so watching the video through will be the best way to learn.

Check out the video on the next page and give drunken quilting a try.

Way easy and I bet it can be done on a larger quilt too if your careful and have a big enough table

I didn’t watch this video yet, but did just receive an order of fabric from them. Good prices, and I’m very pleased with their service. 🙂
