Windmill Quilt Block In A Window! Amazingly Simple Design Surprises Everyone
The simplest Windmill Quilt Block is made from 4 half square triangles.
In the video below we will be surprised at how simple this is made.
This example uses 2 1/2 in strips like those in a Jelly Roll. Of course we can also cut our own strips if needed.
We will need to decide what we want to use as our background.
It should contrast with all other colors and it should be the same color as the center of our windmill.
The broken square or window creates a fantastic effect and the secondary effect of the smaller windmills ties the quilt top together into a single format.
