It would look cool to do on a picture quilt and actually make a picnic basket and do the weave technique on it.

I saw her in person quite a few years backs. She was teaching a class in Iowa. My son was in college out there then and I was quilt shopping that day and stopped into this very unique shop. It looked very interesting. They said I could stay for the class but I didn’t have my sewing machine with me. So I stayed and watched for a little while till hubby and son showed back up to pick me up.

I saw one of the 30* ones about 4 years ago at a little Mennonite store. Next time I was there, planning to ask about how it was made, it had sold and nobody knew what I was talking about. I’ve been looking for instructions ever since! So glad to see this!!!!

looks like this would take up a ton of fabric though and it appears as if they bond the strips on the back with interfacing, so if I count double fabric plus interfacing times two strips overlapping that makes 6 layers plus you still have to ad the backing.
