Rami Kim shows a technique from her new AQS book Elegant Cotton Wool Silk Quilts. How she weaves fabric strips to make everything from Quilts to bags and even clothing. Tumbling blocks quilt pattern can be  difficult to get all the points just right, but with Rami Kim’s technique of weaving at a 30 degree angle you get perfect points every time.

    I have made the tumbling blocks quilt before and were the 6 points come together is very hard to keep in line. This however would make it much easier! Love it

    Looks interesting! My only question is, after all the strips are woven together, how do you sew them in place?

    I got the pattern. Tried it. Got 2 colors but cannot get the 3rd color. Not good instructions.

    I did something similar to this as a table runner. Never has anything been so confusing or awkward. Finished result was great but what a journey getting there.

    I have made two table runners like this. Very intense following the pattern instructions. I doubt if I will make another.
