Try Something Unique Like The Rolling Stone Block!

This rolling stone block is unique because though it’s simple to make, it creates an optical illusion, making it seem like a more difficult block than it really is.

To make this block, we use the usual shapes like squares, rectangles, and triangles, but end up with a wonderful circle design once it is all pieced together.

Mary Fons of Fons and Porter will be giving us step-by-step instructions to construct this rockin’ block.

We will need the following materials:

  • 2 and 1/2″ strips of Fabric A and Fabric B

  • 16 2 1/2″x 2 1/2″ Fabric B squares

  • 5 4 1/2″x 4 1/2″ Fabric A squares

The video tutorial on the next page demonstrates how to make this unique block.

Wish they would have had a quilt put together to show how it looks when completed.
