Try Adding A LeMoyne Star To The Next Quilt

Try learning how to quilt a lemoyne star without Y seams.

The focus is on making the first cut at a 45 degree angle. Some of this is counter intuitive, but it really does work!

Pressing our seams will also help keep the bulk down.

Stitching the pieces together with the seams locking is what makes this look so good. 4 units will make up the star.

The tools make this much easier to complete as well. Pay attention to the pressing, it makes a difference.

I have used this pattern many times. One of my ‘go to’ patterns, especially if I’m in a hurry to get something done!
    Love it!
