Techniques For Making A Reversible Quilt

Determining the center of both sides of our reversible quilt is our best starting point.

Fold the “top and bottom” of the quilt in half and fold the half in half again.

Using our fingers press a crease from side to side and top to bottom.

Fold them separately then check to see if where the creases cross is in the center of each.

If our quilt will be quilted on a long arm machine be sure have 4″ of extra fabric on all sides so the it can be rolled onto the long arm quilt machines rollers.

Find the center crease on both sides and place a pin in the top, batting, and backing. Then align the creases at the edges together and pin them in place.
