This is a series of 3 Videos. They each have great Tips and if you’re new or struggled with applying a binding to your quilt these are detailed for even the most novice quilter.

Pay Close attention to the great tip in the 1st Video to make a perfect mitered quilt binding corner.

Beginning when you trim your quilt after it’s been quilted you’ll see how to trim the edge and prepare it so the binding goes on easier.

    How can i make a nice binding when we i use the same fabric from the back . I take the back fabric and fold it in the front the sew but is there a tip to make a very binging that way

  77. This is a good one too. I always refer to Jenny’s when I start to bind but now I will add this one too. I like the tip about finger-pressing at the corner to use as the guide. That one I will use every time. I just need to learn patience. By the time I am ready to bind, I’m just ready to be done…lol

    I hand stitch my binding when I do binding, because I can’t always sew straight to catch the binding on both sides, and that bugs me. So, I hand stitch it.

    binding is very easy if one starts in the middle leaving a length of binding then going around the quilt doing the corners square then just about 15 cms from start join the edges together so you will have a join like those you joined your strip with i use to cut my strips 1,5 inches wide halve it so you have a 1/4 inch seam. i used hair clips to hold the binding over to hand sew. example in my wall taken of one of them

    Bethany Kubicz Knestrick not an option when you’re using cuddle cloth (I make a lot of baby quilts) with this and folding a crease just isn’t possible. But the tip was helpful.
