Save Time, Cut Fabric in Layers

Scroll down to find the video

Look at your pattern see how many of what size of strips you’ll need to cut your pieces from and select your fabric color.

PRESS your fabric prior to layering. If you would like you can also add starch while you’re pressing the wrinkles.

Decide how many fabric layers you can cut using your rotary cutter. It may only be 4 layers and that’s ok.

After you’ve figured out how many strips you need of each fabric layer them on top of each other as shown in the Video.

Start Cutting using the Tips in Video. It is very helpful and demonstrated in a clear way so watch it if you can because you will not regret it!

You absolutely MUST have a sharp, new rotary blade if you want to cut multiple layers. And, yes, it does save time if you’re careful.
