Turn Our Quilt Scraps Into Jewels! Quilt As We Go Angel Jewels Quilt Blocks

These blocks are a little smaller than most beginner quilters need to start on.

Because of there small size zccuracy is a little more important to keep everything aligned.

Cutting and seam allowance accuracy should be tested each time if you’re going to be making these over a long period of time.

The center is a simple 4 patch that’s made using 1 3/4 inch by at least 4  inch strips of contrasting colors.

The the next piece is a  3 1/2 inch square you’ll need 2 squares. They will be cut diagonally to make 4 triangles.

Center the triangles on your four patch and sew all four to each side of your 4 patch.

Make a quilt sandwich with batting, backing and your new Angel Jewel block.

Stitch in the ditch to quilt it and your block is done.
