This is a stay in place straight edge that will not slide.

It is made with a retractable system that keeps all your fabric in place.

The system has small rubber balls that will hold all your fabric when pressed down.

Why would you not save a step by using the grid on the cutting mat to measure?

I think it isn’t as accurate, and it doesn’t wear out your cutting mat so bad by continuously cutting on the same lines over and over. Could be wrong though. Hope this helps 🙂

Just seems like that’s what the grid on the cutting mat is for? LOL

Horribly inaccurate!!! Attempted to use it on 1st quilt…it was all wonky and too much swearing…put it away 20 years ago. If I see it again, I’ll put the pieces in a bonfire!

I have one that is totally accurate. I have measured it with several rulers. I get great results.

Try Martelli rulers. So much better and you only need one ruler and only one step to cut.

Seems like a lot of monkeying around – not saving any time as far as I can tell! There are products to put on the underside of your rulers so they don’t slip!

Wasted more time using two and the lines did not match at the end
