Quilts that look complicated, but are actually very easy to make, are the best! These quilts are the ones you can whip up really quick, but they always catch someone’s eye.
Sometimes, these projects can be a bit difficult to find, but here is one for you to try out. Today’s tutorial teaches us how to make the blithe quilt and it is by Kimberly Jolly of Fat Quarter Shop.
The blithe quilt is a beautiful project, made with half-square triangles. As Kimberly describes it, the blithe quilt has a very geometric look to it, but the method behind the scenes is not nearly as difficult as they may seem.
Which is a huge win for the person who is making it! In fact, with the instruction from Kimberly, I think even a beginner could do it!
Not only is the process of doing this project simple, and rewarding, but it just seems super fun. To begin, you will need to put a few things together and set up your workplace.
