Get The Most From Our Quilting Scraps

Get the most out of our quilting scraps. This video walks us thru how to use our ruler & cutting mat and determine if our scrap material is large enough for the size of square we need. If we have larger pieces or pieces that are just barely big enough for the size squares we need here are some hints to get the most out of what we’ve got.

As we are cutting we can sort our finished pieces into groups. If you have project in mind then use that as way to sort. It can be color, solids vs prints, lighter shades vs darker shades, or simply by what you like. Don’t discount what you like as not being important. Your intuition is usually much better than you think.

That piece you were throwing away would make a good size half square triangle.
