Easy And Effective 3 Pin Quilting Method!

Quilting is always such an amazing hobby for so many people! The good, the bad, the pretty, and the ugly…it always is something that we can enjoy. Though this is the reality, we do not turn down any kind of tip that can make our life easier while quilting.

This is the tip we are introducing today is about, convenience. The tutorial is called “How to Sew Quilt Rows with the 3 Pin Method by Doug Leko of Antler Quilt Design” and it is presented by Fat Quarter Shop.

So, what is the 3 Pin Method?

The three pin method is a way to be able to pick up all the square or rectangle blocks and to put them together without having to get up and then having to sit back down and all that nonsense.

This method blocks the need to press the blocks as well. Sometimes I am a lazy quilter. Sometimes we are all lazy quilters, when telling the truth! This method is so amazing for those times.

Some things that seem necessary to the 3 pin method are different colored pins. This can make it much easier to understand! Doug Leko recommends a green pin, a red pin, and a yellow pin. Stoplight colors, as he points out!
