Grab a pen and paper.
Take some notes on the measurements as we watch the video on creating this beautiful illusion block quilt.
The widths, and lengths of each piece that makes the block is key and that’s what creates the illusion.
The block is made up of one large block, 1 side strip in grey, 1 bottom strip in grey, 2 squares the same size as the strips.
You can add sashing to connect the blocks and form the top if desired.

I used this pattern to make an I Spy quilt for my granddaughter. I used 48 FQs because I wanted each block to be different. No repeats. It was fun to make.
