Check Out These Cool Double Sided Quilted Cottons

One thing we love is saving time so we’re always on the lookout for fun quilting projects that do just that for us!

In this video tutorial by Riley Blake Designs, Bonnie and Cindy take us through the process of making an easy lap blanket using double-sided quilted cottons! It sounds intriguing right? It definitely is!

It’s easy to get stuck using the same kind of fabrics, but one great thing about the double-sided quilted cottons is their versatility. They take a lot of extra work out of quilting like lining your backs. Once your done, it’s really as easy as that, you’re done!

Quilting to us can be very personal so we love that the quilt they show us in the video took it a step further and personalized the quilt using initials. It doesn’t have to be just this quilt project; it’s something you can implement on any quilt.

This quilt uses three different fabrics with a different print on each side so this is where you can get creative and add your own flare. It’s fun to see how different patterns play off each other and mix together!

Great idea for using pre-quilted fabrics in a quilt.
