Channeling Our Inner Child With A Grand Adventure Quilt

Grownups can get very out of touch with their inner child as they progress. This may not be the case for all of us, but it is for many. Maybe it is time to say that we are done being done with childish things.

Think about all the fun times and adventures we could go on as children, and they all took place right in our own heads. It’s time to find our inner child with the grand adventure quilt that is brought to us in a video tutorial by Jenny with The Missouri Star Quilt Company.

This quilt has so many dynamics and very cool patterns to it and Jenny even says herself that there are so many things that we can do with this specific quilt. I guess that is what makes it a grand adventure!

To start this project, we must first gather the materials. We will need one pack of ten inch squares in a solid color, one more pack of ten inch squares but in our chosen pattern, three quarters yards of inner border, and and three quarters yards of outer border, and three years of backing that is about one hundred and eight inches wide.

If it’s done exactly how it is shown in the video, then the quilt should be about ninety inches by eighty seven inches.
