A Great Guide For Our Seam Line

This is a great tool to make sure your seams are straight and accurate.

It might look like it’s a little large, but it is so easy to get lined up and depending on the size of your work area you can get perfect 1/4 seams every time.

It saves a lot of time and speeds up how fast you can run your machine. The results are faster sewing, very accurate Scant 1/4″ or other sized seam allowances, straight consistent seams.

If possible as you line it up on your machine pay attention to where your feed dogs are and move your needle if possible.

If the feed dogs are under the guide you can flip the guide over and place the notched part of the guide next to the foot so the feed dogs can engage.

Immediately Below this Video you’ll find access to where you can get an Ideal Seam Guide.

If the throat of your machine is not flat, this will not stay on your machine. It rocks back & forth.

I purchased a set a few years ago, not worth the money, after a few uses the tape no longer holds the guides to machine. I contacted the company about purchasing additional tape, never got a reply.

If your machine does not have a flat top, these do not stay on. They have to sit flat to stay on your sewing machine. I bought a set at a quilt show, not happy with them.

The throat of my Brothers is not flat, it has a curve to it. When you put the Ideal Seam Guide on, it rocks back & forth.
